Animal Sitting

Do you like animals? Of course you do. So why not earn serious money spending time with them?

Of the many ways to earn money, both on and offline, earning money pet sitting may perhaps be the easiest passive income source of them all.

Adorable Shih Tzu or $400? Why not both?

Why not both?

For those of us blessed to have a beloved pet, we know that they can be quite literally family. For many who travel or otherwise require pet care services, ensuring their family member is well taken care of is a top priority. Putting Snowball or Ghost (the two dogs sitting beside me) in a kennel is unfathomable.

This is the part where you come in.

Signing up with a pet service company is a fairly straightforward and simple process. Upon being approved as a pet sitter, you will have the ability to accept dog bookings on your schedule, much like a hotel. No obligation. But should you be available, you can accept the request. The dog’s owner will drop him or her off before jetting off to Hawaii for the week. Take good care of and love their dog. It’s that simple.

Isn’t there a lot of work involved?

Dog watching is broken down by dog size. Some people -myself included- focus primarily on small dogs. Other than taking them on nice walks, there really is very little work involved. Simply love them like you would your own dog and make them feel at home. Very large dogs sometimes require more attention, but that’s per your discretion.

How much can I make?

This is set by the individual dog watcher (you) but a standard fare would be about $40/day, and more if it’s two dogs. My personal best was about $750 for two very easy going Schnauzers.

Not bad for something many people do every day anyway. I made just under 10k last year doing it as passive income, with zero opportunity cost. Why not you? It really is this easy.
